Well if you thought last year’s VMAS were lack luster then you might think the same again this year as Russell Brand returns for his second shot as host for the MTV award show.

For the second year in a row, comedian Russell Brand will host the live show, taking place at some of the city’s most iconic locations, including Radio City Music Hall. MTV

I agree with most when it’s said the the VMAS have been lacking the past few years. There were no memoriable moments from last year at all. I give MTV a A for trying to hype up the show on their sites. Maybe the vibe of New York will make it more watchable this year, but if they really want people to tune it they need to announce more musical acts other than Taylor Swift and Muse. Taylor Swift doesn’t scream VMAs too me.
